Our mares carry the bloodlines of several well known show winners, point earners and World Champions. Some of the horses in our mare pedigrees include, Blue Max, Hot Scotch Man, Sonny Dee Bar, A Summer Breeze, Dixie's War Drum, Bright Red Bar, Bright Skipper, Poco Pine, Hot Cabin Jack, Red Sonny Dee, Sudden By Design, Sudden Impact, Bright Skipper, Sonny Dee Bee and many more. Amost all of our mares are broke to ride and do double duty as riders and broodmares. Some are  used for trail riding and some show in everything from 4-H to APHA/PtHA  in Western, English, Hunter Under Saddle, Dressage, Trail, Driving, Reining, Barrels, Poles,  Halter and Showmanship. The mares that get bred get some time off later in their pregnancy and if they are not rebred get back to work as soon as their foals are weaned - sometimes earlier with foals tagging along to a show here or there.  Check out the photo album or photo pages for mares and/or foals that are currently for sale.

All APHA registered foals are eligible for the APHA Breeders Trust Program.

"Wheres The Judge"

Terrapin Station Paint Horses began in 1996. Our breeding program has been built around our stallion "Wheres The Judge".   All foals are eligible for the APHA Breeders Trust, the Kentucky Paint Horse Breeders Associaton Futurities, Pinto Organization of Kentucky Futurities and the Kentucky (Paint) Incentive Fund. Terrapin Station offers a few young horses for sale each year. Most are weanlings or yearlings - but sometimes we will have a young horse just getting started under saddle.
